Natural, beautiful and very abundant, are the wild Red Dogwood bushes. . . just over the hill from the RedBarn. Sure, we always need to use good sense when gathering designing materials from plants and trees. A little pruning done in a large growth area of the Red Dogwood really won’t hurt a thing. It’s a splendid way to add RED to your outdoor decor.
Anyone have good ideas for used twine? Although my “used twine bow” is a little understated among the Colorado Blue Spruce boughs swinging on the RedBarn, I’m happy about finding a use! Bet the twine would make a lovely basket or mat if I knew how to weave. Simple JOY in decorating the outdoors with simple goods on hand! Satisfying!
Sweet Hunter does double duty; he puts on his guard dog look while his real intent is to soak up the winter sun.
