What is most often seen as a simple blessing seems like so much more when you haven’t had it for some time. Walking around my yard, watching the Saturday morning sun cast its light on each little rain droplet. . . .beautiful and very welcome.
Those clumps of perennial plants that are begging to be divided(seems to me I said that last year)will have softened a little and are ready for the garden fork. Overnight, the peony bushes, ferns, lilies, hostas and all of the old standbys are in a race to see who can get the biggest drink and shoot toward the sky. Even though we see it every spring, it’s simply amazing, don’t you think?
